Pipeline Institute Hosting Classroom Trainings
The Pipeline Institute is offering the chance to start off the New Year with new knowledge through two hosted trainings; Program Administrator and Pipeline Integrity using In-Line Inspections.
As a key interface with pipeline safety authorities, program administrators face a weighty responsibility. Our Program Administrator training helps new comers in the role sort out the responsibilities and. Join us February 6-8, 2018 at the Integrity Plus Houston, TX office to strengthen and refine program administration skills such as, audit prep and survival, developing and maintaining written programs, and communicating with stakeholders.
Get a deeper understanding of In-Line Inspections (ILI) of pipelines, the data that is generated, and how to best apply results to an integrity plan in our Pipeline Integrity using ILI training. Join us February 27-28, 2018 at the Integrity Plus Houston, TX office to gain a further understanding of ILI data and technology.
2017 Integrity Plus Employee Awards
We've had a great year at Integrity Plus and none of it is possible without our incredible team. We wanted to recognize some of our strongest performers, so we decided to have our employees vote on who they felt was the Most Valuable Employee. Requirements for receiving votes included positive attitude, hard working, problem solving, and improvement from previous years. Being that we have multiple offices and so many individuals deserving recognition, we decided on an award for Houston MVP, Fort Collins MVP, and a Rising Star award.
Lauren Tipton (upper right) received our Houston MVP award for her continuous work, go getter attitude, and helping to best meet client objectives regardless of the obstacles in her path. Bob Webb (middle left) received our Fort Collins MVP award for consistently having a positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to help complete work on various Data Management projects.
Emily Revielle-Witt (bottom right) received our Rising Star award for her contributions to the Operations Team, as well as her efforts with proposals, project coordination, and various Compliance and Integrity Management projects throughout the year.
We have an amazing team of hardworking and dedicated employees, all of which deserve recognition for their work in 2017 and look forward to the opportunity to continue serving such a wonderful industry in 2018! Way to go Lauren, Bob, and Emily!

Melissa Lawrence to Present at New Mexico Regional CGA Conference
Integrity Plus’s Melissa Lawrence will be speaking at New Mexico Regional Common Ground Alliance (NMRCGA) Conference in Albuquerque, NM September 19-21, 2017. Melissa will be leading two presentations on Wednesday, September 20th in the Manzano room including, Risk Analysis Results and Ranking at 9am, and Pipeline Release Consequences: Beyond HCAs at 10:30am.
The Risk Analysis Results and Ranking presentation discusses the importance of risk analysis in pipeline integrity management and performance-based management systems. It will cover ideas and guidance for conducting risk assessment and evaluating results to prioritize follow-up activities. As result of upcoming regulations, the industry must expand on how release consequences are identified. In her Pipeline Release Consequences: Beyond HCAs presentation, Melissa will provide an introduction on identifying consequence areas and expanding current practices to incorporate additional release impacts.

Integrity Plus Adds In-Line Inspection Services Team
Integrity Plus is pleased to announce the establishment of our In-Line Inspection (ILI) Team. The team is currently three members strong, including Phil Tisovec, Deanna Sperry, and Rupesh Muthyala. Each member brings a unique set of skills with diverse ILI, GIS and data management experience. Led by Phil Tisovec, ILI Team Manager, the team is dedicated to supporting operators with all things ILI-related including; data alignment, run comparison, corrosion growth, data management and integration, and training. The team is excited to hear from operators with any ILI-related needs! As well as how they can assist in keeping pipelines operating safely and efficiently, ensuring operators are getting the best value from their ILI investment.
Introducing the Integrity Plus Pipeline Institute
The Integrity Plus Pipeline Institute provides both hazardous liquids and natural gas pipeline operators with a focused means of training both new pipeline professionals and legacy employees. With expert level instruction provided by Integrity Plus pipeline consultants, The Pipeline Institute's objective is to support and facilitate student career success through comprehensive and objective instruction and advising.
The Pipeline Institute offers customized training programs that best fit student roles, and new graduates are eligible for a year-long student advising program and certification. Alternatively, eligible students may enroll in individual training modules or custom programs. Training topics range from basic pipeline data management and GIS concepts to advanced pipeline risk analysis and pipeline safety program administration. Benefits of The Pipeline Institute include fast-tracked industry knowledge for new staff, conceptual awareness of commonly employed technologies and workflows, enhanced knowledge of key pipeline safety regulatory topics, and compliance demonstrations for various pipeline safety training requirements.

Registration Open for Integrity Plus 2017 Hosted Events
Integrity Plus will be holding the first ever Integrity Plus Workshop in Calgary, AB March 22, 2017. Registration is now open! Join us for a one-day workshop of discussing integrity management programs, pipeline data management best practices, and risk management strategies. The workshop will include special guest speakers, as well as presentations from Integrity Plus staff.
Registration is also open for the second annual Integrity Management and Compliance Symposium in Galveston, TX May 2-3, 2017. The two-day symposium will be filled with special guest speaker and Integrity Plus staff presentations around incident investigation, regulatory changes, facilities risk, and much more. Join us in expanding industry knowledge, networking, and some fun in the sun.

Integrity Plus Vice President, Mike LaMont, Appointed to PHMSA Working Group
HOUSTON, Texas. (January 12, 2017) – Integrity Plus is pleased to announce that Mike LaMont, Vice President of Integrity Plus, has been appointed to the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) pipeline safety Voluntary Information-Sharing System (VIS) Working Group.
U.S. Transportation Secretary, Anthony Foxx, appointed LaMont and the full committee stating, “The new VIS Working Group will not only utilize the expertise of the pipeline industry, but it will encourage collaboration in the way information is used and exchanged regarding pipeline assets and activities to impact safety.” LaMont is one of 24 members selected to advise the Secretary of Transportation on pipeline safety recommendations, the exchange of pipeline inspection information, and proprietary and security-sensitive information protection best practices.
LaMont offers over fifteen years of experience in the pipeline oil and gas transmission sector and specializes in regulatory compliance best practices, integrity management strategies, and operator succession planning. “It’s a privilege to serve on the working group, as it is tasked with a complex Charter that could have profound industry impacts,” he says.
