Melissa Lawrence to Present at New Mexico Regional CGA Conference

Integrity Plus’s Melissa Lawrence will be speaking at New Mexico Regional Common Ground Alliance (NMRCGA) Conference in Albuquerque, NM September 19-21, 2017. Melissa will be leading two presentations on Wednesday, September 20th in the Manzano room including, Risk Analysis Results and Ranking at 9am, and Pipeline Release Consequences: Beyond HCAs at 10:30am.

The Risk Analysis Results and Ranking presentation discusses the importance of risk analysis in pipeline integrity management and performance-based management systems. It will cover ideas and guidance for conducting risk assessment and evaluating results to prioritize follow-up activities. As result of upcoming regulations, the industry must expand on how release consequences are identified. In her Pipeline Release Consequences: Beyond HCAs presentation, Melissa will provide an introduction on identifying consequence areas and expanding current practices to incorporate additional release impacts.

Integrity Plus Adds In-Line Inspection Services Team

Integrity Plus is pleased to announce the establishment of our In-Line Inspection (ILI) Team. The team is currently four members strong, including Phil Tisovec, Deanna Sperry, Ember Vannoy and Rupesh Muthyala. Each member brings a unique set of skills with diverse ILI, GIS and data management experience. Led by Phil Tisovec, ILI Team Manager, the team is dedicated to supporting operators with all things ILI-related including; data alignment, run comparison, corrosion growth, data management and integration, and training. The team is excited to hear from operators with any ILI-related needs! As well as how they can assist in keeping pipelines operating safely and efficiently, ensuring operators are getting the best value from their ILI investment.

The Integrity Plus Pipeline Institute provides both hazardous liquids and natural gas pipeline operators with a focused means of training both new pipeline professionals and legacy employees. With expert level instruction provided by Integrity Plus pipeline consultants, The Pipeline Institute's objective is to support and facilitate student career success through comprehensive and objective instruction and advising.

Join us for a one-day workshop of discussing integrity management programs, pipeline data management best practices, and risk management strategies. The workshop will include special guest speakers, as well as presentations from Integrity Plus staff.

Registration is also open for the second annual Integrity Management and Compliance Symposium in Galveston, TX May 2-3, 2017. The two-day symposium will be filled with special guest speaker and Integrity Plus staff presentations around incident investigation, regulatory changes, facilities risk, and much more. Integrity Plus Vice President, Mike LaMont, Appointed to PHMSA Working Group

Mike LaMontHOUSTON, Texas. (January 12, 2017) – Integrity Plus is pleased to announce that Mike LaMont, Vice President of Integrity Plus, has been appointed to the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) pipeline safety Voluntary Information-Sharing System (VIS) Working Group.

U.S. Transportation Secretary, Anthony Foxx, appointed LaMont and the full committee stating, “The new VIS Working Group will not only utilize the expertise of the pipeline industry, but it will encourage collaboration in the way information is used and exchanged regarding pipeline assets and activities to impact safety.” LaMont is one of 24 members selected to advise the Secretary of Transportation on pipeline safety recommendations, the exchange of pipeline inspection information, and proprietary and security-sensitive information protection best practices.

LaMont offers over fifteen years of experience in the pipeline oil and gas transmission sector and specializes in regulatory compliance best practices, integrity management strategies, and operator succession planning. “It’s a privilege to serve on the working group, as it is tasked with a complex Charter that could have profound industry impacts,” he says. Integrity Management and Compliance SymposiumIn 2017 Integrity Plus will be holding two hosted events. First up will be a first ever Integrity Plus Workshop in Calgary, AB on March 22nd. We are excited to be bringing a workshop to the Canadian area to discuss both U.S. and Canadian regulations and hear from area operators.

The workshop will be followed up by the Integrity Management and Compliance Symposium in Galveston, TX May 2nd-3rd. There was such a great response to the inaugural Symposium that we can’t wait to get back down there next year!

Integrity Plus to Co-Instruct Integrity Management Training

The training will take place January 25-26, 2017 in Houston, TX and is hosted by Kinetic.

The training will cover the different portions of integrity management regulations, and teach participants how to effectively design and maintain an integrity management program (IMP). Including an overview of compliance strategy, regulatory updates, and what make an IMP sustainable.

Integrity Plus to Present with Questar Pipeline at Pipeline Week

Integrity Plus’s Rupesh Muthyala will be partnering with Casey Heinrich of Questar Pipeline to present at Pipeline Week in Houston, TX September 20-22, 2016. Rupesh and Casey’s presentation, Risk assessment of the corrosive effect of Alternating Current on a Pipeline, will take place on Tuesday, September 20th at 3pm in Waterway Ballroom 4.

The presentation will cover standard practices around Alternating Current Corrosion Identification and Mitigation for pipeline assets. Casey and Rupesh will discuss how a high incident rate concerning Alternating Current corrosion on pipeline assets led to the creation of a standard identification and mitigation practice, that stresses the imperativeness of defining voltage criteria. They will touch on how the implementation of software and an Alternating Current risk algorithm are used to quickly and easily identify high risk segments.

Integrity Plus’s David Mangold and Ryan Huntley join the lineup of speakers at the 2016 International Pipeline Conference & Exposition in Calgary, AB, September 26th-30th, 2016.

New Century Software Releases Gas HCA Analyst 5.0

Gas HCA Analyst provides operators and engineering firms with new tools to deliver a more accurate and defined approach to identify HCA’s.

New Century Software has released the latest version of its highly configurable application designed to identify Class Location and High Consequence Areas on gas pipelines and determine regulated onshore gathering lines, Gas HCA Analyst 5.0.

Gas HCA Analyst 5.0 strives to allow users to graphically view structure counts and draw a structure impact range through the use of new tools, in order to provide users with detailed information for analysis. This release also offers improved stability and support through data model certifications, analysis configuration, and filter settings.
